Working for the Puppet People
...and finding a way out

[NOTE: If you enjoy this article, the precursor to it is What Are You Going to DO With Your Life?!

When we take a closer look at the things we do in life and the way that we do them, how many of us ever realize that we’re only given a few options to choose from with any given thing? Where are our alternate options to pick from when it comes to our money system, for example? For education? For our government? Everything is set up and in place before we’re born, and then we arrive on the scene and pick up where our parents left off, without missing a beat, and in turn pass this along to our own children. There’s compulsory education for twelve years, then you attend college, get a degree, land a safe job, accumulate and use illusory money that’s backed by nothing, buy cars that you see advertised on T.V., rent an apartment or buy a house/condominium, pay bills, pay mortgage, watch loads of television and have your favorite programs, buy lots of stuff at the store to fill your abode, vote Democrat, Republican or Libertarian, follow the news, believe what we’re told, repeat it to others, then you die. But don’t think of questioning things and rocking the boat! Do things the way they’ve always been done! Perpetuate the system that you’re born into…it’s the only way!

By deliberately eliminating other options, The Powers That Be (TPTB) have narrowed down the pool of choices for all aspects of our existence to ensure that we remain in the sheep pen, and then hope we don’t notice this and question anything. A major facet of this in modern developed nations involves working at a mainstream soul-sucking, energy depleting job, whether you like it or not, so you can pay your bills and acquire material goods. We’re not presented with other options for getting by in life — such as bartering and trading, or growing and producing our own food and goods, (for those who only know an urban life) or working for yourself, tax free. So we wind up following along with little, if any, resistance to the path that’s already been tread before us. It is time to realize that we are living in a world that is somebody else’s creation, and it is not in our best interest. But it doesn’t have to be this way. And people are starting to wake up to this, slowly but surely.

The Stage is Set

I’ve noticed that there seems to be roughly three segments of the population co-existing side by side: The first group, consisting of people who are waking up to the illusion that we live in, growing wise to the controllers that run our planet and shrugging off the shackles. The second group, consisting of the financially poor working class who often times notice that something is very wrong and off in this world and with our “leaders”, but who are powerless to do anything about it. A lack of money and living paycheck to paycheck keeps their nose to the grindstone and forces them to partake in a system that they most likely don’t agree with. There’s simply no time, or resources, to be revolting against anything. And the third group, consisting of people who are totally asleep, seemingly unable — and unwilling — to hear you when presented with information about the situation around us, as well as those who are flat out defending and fighting for the system we live in. This latter group is what I call “the puppet people.”

The puppet people as I define it, are those who work for and/or back the system and society’s status quo unquestioningly, and they go by many names — the robots, drones, pod people, machine people, background characters, etc. For this article I’ll call them the puppet people because I happen to like it, and it’s a good all-around general term. It can apply to anybody who promotes the system, no matter who they are, but without insinuating that we know about their actual soul orientation.

As more people begin waking up, “work” will become a bigger and bigger issue, as their level of tolerance for what passes as the norm in the modern workplace grows smaller and smaller. Most of us “have to” work, so this is just one of those areas that really can’t be avoided. “Stuff” knows this, which is why work is such a colossal issue for many. I know that for myself, there are all these “issues” that I wouldn’t have cared about before but which now cause me to reject jobs I would have previously taken — and suffered through – without a second thought. I don’t want to deal with or work with people who are very unhappy and dislike their jobs, or be at a workplace that has a bad vibe in general, where something is “off; I won’t allow myself to be treated with disrespect by supervisors; I can’t tolerate jobs, even a temp job, that I know I wouldn’t enjoy doing, where I’d literally have to drag myself out of bed every morning to go to. If I’m going to be “hating life” every morning because of some job, then that’s no longer acceptable to me. Life is too short, and we could all die tomorrow. Do we really want our last days here to be spent in misery, based on the false assumption that we have all the time in the world to make changes later on? No, of course not! We should be enjoying every moment we possibly can, not just trying to plow through unpleasant tasks as quickly as possible. This is a complete 180 from the old me who was just happy to have a job, and too caught up in the dizzying frenzy of every day life to realize that there’s got to be a better way.

I know too that I’m not the only one who’s experiencing this attitude shift with regards to work, as I either keep reading or hearing about others who are going through the same thing. But we all have to earn a living some way, and if reality is changing, and our personal world is turning upside down, then where does that leave us when it comes time to get a paycheck?

It’s a Puppet People’s Work Place…

During my travels and job-hopping over the years, something interesting that I encountered were policies and procedures that could be considered “signs of the times” in the modern workplace. Some of these procedures aren’t necessarily new, however, their widespread increase as time goes by seems to be a bit alarming. What used to be something you’d encounter here and there in isolated cases is now becoming the norm, as well just a tad bit annoying. In retrospect, it was almost like I was an investigative reporter of sorts, being inserted in to all these situations to gather up evidence about the workplace evolution that’s currently taking place. Although at the time I wasn’t purposely trying to do that, but it is nice if some benefit can come from everything I went through! Following is a list of these “signs of the times” I experienced for anybody who’s looking for a reason, (or two, or five…) to get out of the mainstream work place. Afterwards, I will delve into what we can do about all of this.

Privacy invading paperwork and background checks

I’m familiar with the loads of paperwork that temp agencies put their prospective employees through, but it seems that what I’ve seen over the past two years is something else entirely. The amount of personal information these agencies are requiring, and the background checks they subject people to seemed a bit excessive to me. They wanted me to sign away the right for them to go in and check everywhere I’ve worked and lived for the past 10 years, my credit report, criminal background, if any, my driver’s record, and who knows what else. When I questioned this at one particular agency, I was told with a voice that suddenly dropped to a hushed whisper, “It’s because of 9/11…” She gave me a knowing nod.

hmmm. It’s more like Problem—Reaction—Solution I think. That’s a bit more accurate. This particular issue, and the flimsy “9/11” excuse for it annoyed me the most out of everything else I’ve encountered. It’s not an employer’s business to access that degree of information when it’s not relevant to the job, and then use terrorism as an excuse for it. I can’t lie though or be a hypocrite and say I didn’t let them check. I did. “I have nothing to hide,” I thought. “My background is clean.” And unfortunately, I needed the work. Then there was a corporate “Illuminati” hotel as I called it that I recently did a stint at with the same background check deal. Now, I’d worked at five different hotels in California back in the 90’s and never once encountered a background check at any of them. So learn from my mistake…don’t do it. Afterwards I felt like I had sold my soul to the devil, and have kicked myself over it ever since. When we sign these forms and consent to over-the-top information gathering procedures for unimportant companies and their low paying jobs that aren’t worth it, we’re giving a very loud message: that we the public will tolerate this. We shouldn’t.

Moving to a cash free society

After filling out the mounds of paperwork and watching the videos at one particular temp agency, the very first thing that was addressed before anything else was my paycheck options. I was given a choice between either direct deposit, or the “Visa Paycheck Card.” I was familiar with direct deposit of course, but the Visa Paycheck Card was news to me. Turns out it’s a card produced through Visa, which the temp agency transfers your earnings onto. You in turn can swipe that card any place that accepts Visa, and use it as payment. Those were the only options being presented to me, both of which are cash free, you’ll notice. No mention of an actual physical paycheck. At the time, I was that person who liked to get my physical paycheck in hand, then go to the bank it’s drawn off of and cash it for actual physical money. Call me quirky, but I was holding out til the bitter end when it came to money!

When I attempted to inquire about receiving a paycheck, it became a back and forth fiasco between me and one of the women who worked for the agency. First I was told curtly, with finality, “Checks get lost in the mail”. That’s their answer?? I kept pressing. I was then told that they don’t issue checks. Then I was told yes they do, but only at their Richmond location. Total confusion. Then two other women in the office jumped into the mix, trying their best to coerce me and sell me on the idea of just taking the paycheck card. I was being tag-teamed. When I finally said no, that I’ll just take an actual paycheck thank you, the room went silent. All three women gave me steely looks, then one of them got up, slightly huffy, to get a “Decline Form” for me to sign. Yes, I was being required to sign a form that stated I wanted a physical paycheck instead of a Visa card.

The three women made it seem, by their words and facial expressions, that it was incredibly bizarre and strange for me to want a physical paycheck, like I was the weirdo here, not them. Since I’m well acquainted with the puppet people and how they gang up and use coercion to get other sheep to go along with the game plan, it didn’t work on me. But with all the talk that’s been going around for years about a cash free society, have you ever wonder how exactly “They” were going to pull this off, short of just making an abrupt transition overnight? Well, I got my glimpse. One company at a time, TPTB will begin implementing non-cash as the main — if not only — option to use. More and more plastic cards will take the place of physical cash or checks.

I personally don’t have much of a problem with Direct Deposit, and can see how it’s convenient despite the fact that it is “cash free”, but Visa’s paycheck card? “Just Say No.” Visa doesn’t need any more encouragement, thank you, and to have your hard earned money locked up in one of their cards? I don’t think so. Never let something have control over your money like that.

Psychological Profiling

I didn’t experience this recently, although I have in the past, and I know that this is a big one currently happening all around the country in many companies. This needs to be addressed because in many cases, people are being told to take psychological profiling questionnaires as a pre-screening process…for meager, low paying retail/customer service/office jobs. To that I say, are these companies out of their minds?! Well yeah, they are, but, more on that later. But back in 1999 I was subjected to one of these profilings myself when I worked as a receptionist for an executive suites in “Puppet People Central”, a.k.a. Irvine, California. I’d been there for eight months, but after the company had been taken over for the third time in that span by a bigger Pac Man conglomerate, they implemented a new psychological profiling policy for all employees.

We were receptionists, answering a switchboard and smiling at people who stepped off the elevator. We weren’t performing top secret, high security government work or brain surgery. And even more importantly, we weren’t new employees — we were well past our “90 days probation” and had already been proving ourselves for months and months. It was all very absurd. So me and my partner in crime co-worker Stacy purposely fudged our profiling questionnaires, answering “Yes” to questions about whether we’d ever thought about harming ourselves, or others, or stealing, and lying, or whatever the silly questions were that they were asking us. I made sure to give contradictory answers when the questionnaire would ask the same question worded different ways. With big teehees and subversive grins we turned our paperwork in.

Both of us were soon out the door, quitting a month later. If we hadn’t quit we would have both been fired, for our profiling results and other rebellious reasons. teehee. It was worth it though. The company had become impossible to work for with all the mergers and new management, and I couldn’t have looked at myself in a mirror had I actually gone and seriously taken the questionnaire and degraded myself in such a way. Profiling an employee who is going to hold a high management/security position within a large company is understandable. But for the low end help? Seems a bit extreme to me.

Drug Testing

Ah yes, peeing in a cup at a testing facility and handing it to a total stranger, all for a low wage job. Who reading this hasn’t done it, or at least knows someone who has? I have, anyway. This is another item I’m adamantly opposed to. Ultimately, an employee’s work ethic should speak for itself, not whether a test reveals traces of some drug. Does the employee show up on time, do their job, and do it well? Do they “play well with others” ? Are there minimal instances of calling off and leaving early? Yes? Well, then there you go. That should be the measurement gauge for whether they’re allowed to work for a company. Not a drug test. What we do on our personal time is our business, not an employer’s. And as long as our personal activities don’t interfere with one’s job performance, that’s all that matters.

Applying for a job to an in-store computer, not a manager

For kicks I recently looked into applying at a major nationwide drug store retail chain. They had an ad in the classifieds saying they were looking for full time help, and provided in-store training and “competitive salary.” Sounds promising, and it has to be better than being a cubicle zombie, I reasoned. I’ve always enjoyed my cashiering-with-the-public positions in the past. Let’s go for that again!

I drove to one of the locations here in town to get an application and see who to talk to. Instead, the cashier directed me to go to the computer over there in the corner to apply.

Uh…okay, I thought. Sure enough, in the corner, behind a door, I found the stool in front of a little computer screen with a numerical pad and assorted buttons. I sat down curiously, and began reading all the “Equal Opportunity Employment” messages on the computer screen and hitting YES, YES, YES to confirm that YES I had read it, YES, thank you, moving along! Next up – they would need my social security number and consent to perform a background check, straight off the bat before anything else.

Nope, I thought, and hit NO, NO, NO, to exit my way back out of there. No thanks.

So gone are the “good old days” back in 2000 when I could walk into a retail drug store chain like I did when I was 25, to pick up my paper application and speak face to face with a human manager who relied on human intuition and common sense to determine whether or not he/she should hire me.

Now, they direct you to go sit on a stool in the corner and apply with a computer, signing away the right for the computer to forward your personal information to a stranger, somewhere, who will look into all your personal details that are none of their business. All so that you might get a call for an interview from somebody, who knows who. Either way, they still keep all that personal information they’ve obtained in their computer file for two years, so the computer tells you. Welcome to the automated ant hive.

College degrees for jobs that don’t need one

I was recently called back to work at an assignment for a major company that I’d temped at last year, doing transcription. This time it would be for a different department, doing different work. The company had a new president since the first time I was there, and subsequently, a new way of doing business. I ran into the woman I did transcription for who told me all about the changes. And what came to light was that even though I was one of the best transcriptionists they’d had (her words) she suspected that under the new management they wouldn’t hire me on, because I don’t have a college degree!

The fact is I was just there temping, and for another department, so in some ways it was a little presumptuous of her to assume that I had my sights set on my old position. But I did find it fascinating to hear that even if I was interested it wasn’t going to happen, despite my qualifications and having already done the job successfully before. Now, with this new Prez and new policies, a college degree is what would prove my worth…for typing…not the fact that I have already done the job well and shown myself to be a solid, reliable employee worthy of being called back again.

It wasn’t the first time I encountered this lack-of-college-degree “issue” however. It’s come up on several other occasions, for mindless, low paying jobs that required no brain power whatsoever. So I find it kind of shocking that a college degree no longer nets you a job that’s on par with the time, energy and money that you invested in it. $10 an hour office clerk and typing jobs used to be what us non-college edumacated people did. Not going to school = low paying job. Now, college degree also = low paying job. Both groups are competing for the same jobs in many instances. It’s a sign of both the changing economy and companies imposing stricter regulations. But more on the latter reason in a bit.

Jobs for industries that are illusory in nature

Banks, loans, credit cards, debt counseling and consolidation, taxes, personal investment, mortgages, car/home/boat/personal insurance, law firms, home owners associations — what I’ve found is that the number of useless, illusory industries is skyrocketing, while jobs that create an actual tangible product and serve a useful purpose are on the decline. If you’re going to be an office worker as I’ve been, you’ll notice that the industries you have to choose from are usually for illusory concepts, and/or that which serves and promotes the system. Money is a big one. Any job that centers around money is illusory. Insurance is another biggie. Insurance is selling you on the idea of fear and victimization. What TPTB don’t want you to know is that you have the ability to control what happens to you, which means you ultimately have the final say in whether or not you “choose” to be in an accident or have your car stolen. That’s an advanced esoteric mindset, and if you knew that, they couldn’t make money. Or keep you in the fear frequency.

What good is it going to do anybody to be a financial investor, lawyer, paralegal, mortgage underwriter, IRS agent, insurance salesperson, credit card telemarketer or property manager enforcing rules for the Association about mowing your lawn and power washing your driveway when/if things finally really hit the fan? These people will kind of be up the creek, to put it lightly. Their jobs and industries are completely useless in every sense of the word. So since illusion is what now dominates your job market choices, it’s all the more reason to find a way out, ASAP. .

And on a lesser note:

The propaganda videos/posters/lingo and terminology

This is something you usually encounter with the corporate-owned companies that plant themselves around the country in every major city, not necessarily with independently owned businesses. Corporate offices for many companies want things to run in a unified, tidy, efficient, hive-mind way, and they accomplish this with their slogans and lingo. This serves to program all their employees to think alike and do things the same way. I have neutral understanding for why this is, but as someone who’s experienced it at several jobs, I still find it disturbing the way in which they go about it. The company-specific catch phrases and lingo that pertain to how they do things, which in turn are put on posters and training videos and reinforced over and over to the employees; the mandatory meetings and seminars that many companies hold to further reinforce lingo and jargon; policies and procedures that involve a strict code of conduct for how to interact with customers, down to scripted responses covering every type of situation, resulting in the elimination of all traces of individual personality. Etc. There’s a fine line I think between training, and then conditioning/programming people to become a human robot, and often times these tactics fall into the latter category. To succeed in a big budget company you have to adopt the hive-mind personality and go around spouting the lingo and knowing the “scripts” for how to interact with customers. A puppet person has no problem with this. A real person usually does.

Job descriptions a mile long for jobs that pay very little

Next time you have a free moment, take a look at the local classifieds section in your newspaper or on the internet. It can be good for some laughs, if nothing else! Sometimes when I’m reading through all the ads it just kills me. Job descriptions that go on and on, with the most ridiculous requirements, and sometimes at the end it says the pay is $9 or $10 an hour.

“Come join the fun! Very busy professional office looking for a bilingual, detail oriented, organized team player with good communication skills who enjoys working with the public and can handle a fast paced environment. Knowledge of all Microsoft applications a must, with a typing speed of 80+ wpm and heavy switchboard experience. Must be able to work overtime, weekends, nights and holidays when demanded. Duties include but are not limited to all aspects of supporting a large office, running errands using your own vehicle, assisting departments as needed, and the ability to problem solve, multi-task, prioritize duties and handle frequent deadlines all with a smile on your face and a “Can do!” attitude! Entry level salary, depending on experience.”

This is a slight exaggeration of course, combining together the best of the best that I’ve seen in ads. But exaggeration aside, it’s still not that far off from many jobs. The lingo in these ads is what really gets me though. It’s too funny. I’ve sat at temp agencies listening to long-winded job descriptions being read to me, only to find out the low pay at the end. We should always be paid what we’re worth. And on a side note…mile long job descriptions are usually for jobs that are never worth it. Nobody needs that level of abuse and stress in their life. Unless you like that sort of thing then it’s just selling your soul to a company that doesn’t deserve it. You’re going to pay down the line in so many ways that you can’t foresee when you first get hired on, with your personal energy and enthusiasm, happiness, free time, physical/mental health and your general well being. Corporations, especially those that are Illuminati/Brotherhood owned 1, should never profit from our slave labor.

What’s happening here?

College degrees to do mindless work? Psychological profiling for jobs that barely pay over minimum wage? Intrusive background checks that go way too far for measly jobs? A proliferation of illusory industries taking over the nation like a virus? Things didn’t used to be this way, so we can definitely conclude that something has changed. I certainly have my theory, but it’s not one you’re ever going to hear in the mainstream.

Part of what’s going on here stems from a changing economic climate, all by design of course, for the benefit of what some refer to the “NWO.” I personally try to avoid that phrase as it’s become cliché and has lost its meaning over the years; however there does indeed seem to be some sort of “plan” in the works by those who run the planet, whatever name you choose to give it. The U.S. is in a downward spiral tailspin at the moment, and sinking further every day. It won’t stop til it hits rock bottom, but that’s part of the plan. Farming out work to slave labor overseas, downsizing companies, laying off employees, the decline of the dollar coinciding with the rise of the expanding Euro, and the loss of manufacturing — it all equates to major de-stabilization in the work force. “Things ain’t what they used to be”….t’s an understatement. Many times, college grads leave school with nowhere to go and wind up at a job that has nothing to do with their major, or settle for a job that was previously relegated to those with only a high school education.

“Problem-Reaction-Solution” is another explanation as noted. This is a tactic of the so-called NWO involving information gathering, population monitoring, and everything going electronic, inspired by manufactured terror events, for the end result of total lockdown control of the people. Whether their plans will be fully realized remains to be seen, as there are too many open ended factors that will come into play…but if they don’t succeed, it certainly won’t be for lack of trying!

But while these reasons can explain away part of what’s happening, it doesn’t adequately explain everything. So now for my theory and how it fits in to the puzzle. After years of hopping around, working in many industries in various states, coupled with my metaphysical and conspiracy research, what I’ve concluded is that we pretty much have a silent war going on in society – the real people versus the pod people. The pod, or puppet people are pawns of the world’s elite. Since the elite run everything, their version of “reality” is what goes, presented to the rest of us to soak up and mimic. They need “product demonstrators” to continually sell this version of reality to us, and that’s where the puppet people come into play, acting as living, breathing examples of this reality so the rest of us will follow along. When everybody you’re surrounded by promotes the illusion, you’re forced to go along with it too. Well….so they hope. And in theory, it’s worked out very well.

The elite also want those like themselves at the helm of every major corporation, pharmaceutical lab, educational institution, media outlet, law enforcement agency, government agency, court, entertainment company and banking entity to ensure that their version of reality, and its ultimate survival, is perpetuated. So this is one major explanation for what we’re seeing at so many companies nowadays. It’s a case of “move over real people, we’re taking over.” I don’t know whether the “take over”, for lack of a better term, is a new development, or whether the real people just can no longer tolerate it due to some sort of “shifting” that’s taking place and its resulting polarization.

When you’re working for the puppet people there’s no room for people with independent minds that question outrageous policies and tactics. They need robot people like themselves filling the positions. All the hoop jumping is really about separating the wheat from the chaff — the puppets who perpetuate the established system and obediently obey, versus the people who can think for themselves and pose a threat.

Psych profiling has to do with trying to figure out who’s a puppet. Are you willing to keep quiet and take your questionnaire without protest? Yes? Good, then that means you’re hive-mind, or else willing to take on that persona and play along. You won’t cause trouble and will help perpetuate reality as they want it to be. It’s also related to control, and maintaining a submissive personality among the general population, conditioning us to willingly answer to authority in never ending degrading ways. So don’t be fooled by whatever propaganda a company spouts regarding the “necessity” of profiling. It’s never necessary to subject yourself to that nonsense for a piddly retail/customer service/office job, and when confronted with such at an interview, turn tail and run. That’s not a company you’re going to enjoy working for. If they do that, then think of what other policies and procedures they engage in. There are other jobs out there, trust me.

Drug testing is more hoop jumping and control. Most retail/service /office jobs require drug testing these days, and since such a huge chunk of the population make their living in these industries, it’s yet another excellent avenue for mass control programming. Rampant drug testing as the norm again, conditions us to adopt a child’s mindset of “reporting to a parental figure authority.” We’re not mature adults…we’re children who never seem to be able to grow up, because the authority we must report to never ends, even in our supposed adult years. Authority is always watching over us, hovering, governing, controlling, disciplining. “Big Brother is Watching You”….get it? I’m at a point where I don’t want to bother with any company that requires this anymore. It’s now about the principle of it. I would pass one of these tests with flying colors, but I just don’t care enough anymore to even bother. So it’s time to put our foot down and refuse to be treated like programmed obedient little children. Keep employers out of our personal lives, whether we’re drug free or not.

Invasive information gathering for a job that doesn’t pay much more than minimum wage is once again all about the “NWO” Big Brother lockdown on society. And when we succumb to this, we’re also saying that we’re desperate and will do anything and put up with anything to be able to work. This is good for companies, they need people like this. If you are someone who would resist or rebel against this information gathering, then that probably means you’re problematic, (translation = can think for yourself) or “have something to hide”, to cite an example of their “logic.” Remember, they want robot people, not people who respect themselves and their personal sovereignty.

People who have college degrees — especially for a job that doesn’t need one – are saying to the company that they are willing to buy into the system and put up with a lot of nonsense. Getting your college degree is no easy feat, it requires suffering through classes you don’t like, memorizing and regurgitating outdated, useless information and basically becoming an obedient, unquestioning robot for the four to six years you are in school. I have a bit of sympathy for those who suffer through it; I tried myself, twice, but couldn’t stomach it and felt like I was throwing money away and that there were better things to be doing with my time. Like actually living life. But see, someone who has gone through the robotic nonsense of school is a good sign for companies. It means you will do the same for them. And those who have struck out on their own in life and shunned college in favor of doing things their own way possibly indicates a free thinker who sees through the illusion and knows better. This is not desirable for them. There are exceptions to everything of course, as many people don’t find themselves waking up, shifting and polarizing until years after they’ve already finished school. So you can very well have that college degree on your resume but still find yourself disenchanted with the puppet people world and looking for a way out. In that instance you actually have the best of both worlds. You have a handy tool with which to get by in the puppet world (your degree) while simultaneously having a foot in the other door. I admit to having slight envy for people in that situation! They have it made.

What We Can Do

One way you rebel against a malfunctioning system is by refusing to take part in the first place. You create your own path in life that’s as much away from the established system as you can feasibly manage, then, pass the idea along to others. People learn by example. So be that example. Show them what’s possible, because it’s in our programmed human nature to react to oddball new ideas with skepticism, and sometimes even scorn. Show others a new way, and slowly but surely you’ll get more and more people creating their own path, no longer participating in the illusory system of the puppet people with its limited options and choices, and Big Brother monitoring and control. Here’s an outline of the process:

1. Recognize the signs. First we have to recognize if we’re getting the nudge out the door from an old existence that isn’t working for us anymore. When you feel like you’re going against the grain of things, encountering obstacles and resistance, and/or you feel out of synch, frustrated and lost, then that’s usually a big indicator. In some cases it could just mean that some minor adjustments and tweaking are necessary in your life. In others, it may mean that it’s time to flip the boat over and invent a new game plan. To figure out which one that you may be facing requires personal introspection and analysis.

2. Adapt a new attitude. If I had to sum up what I think the most important attribute is to making a change in one’s life and forging a new path then I would have to say mental attitude and belief. As cliché as that sounds! And I’m not talking about those motivational posters that corporations like to hang on the walls either, which are all about applying attitude and mental belief towards an ends that supports the corporate system. My previous article) touched on the idea of what some refer to as reality creation, and how I attracted to me those jobs which I requested, based on thought and intent alone. Thoughts are energy, and energy in turn manipulates physical matter and rearranges the universe. It’s very simple, but it’s something we tend to forget, if we’re ever told at all. We truly live in a society that emphasizes the idea of being tossed around on the waves of life, a victim of random helpless circumstance, with zero control over what life doles out to us. Nothing could be further from the truth. Our mindsets, beliefs and personal frequency govern what people, jobs, experiences and opportunities comes our way. And if you begin to practice control over your thoughts and emotions, you can learn to direct your will towards intending how you want your life to go…for all aspects of your life. It requires losing the victim mentality and realizing your own power, believing that you deserve it, then trusting that it will go the way that you intend. Everything that happens to you in life happens because you somehow brought it to yourself. It’s the laws of attraction you could say. This can be hard sometimes for many considering that our society, namely through the use of mainstream religion, tries its best to suppress this from us. Finger pointing is the name of the game here. It’s not my fault…I was victimized! It’s not my fault…God was punishing me! X! Nope. Try again. We’re conditioned to relinquish our personal power to every other authority figure and institution out there, which leaves us with child-like mentalities, looking for the next person or group to tell us what to do, while accepting a chaotic life as the norm. It doesn’t have to be this way, and it all boils down to learning to take control of the wheel of your own life.

3. Re-examine who you’re working for.

Stop working for corporations/STS 2 jobs that serve the system.

For starters, we have to chuck the jobs that support corporations and the system. Mega Pac Man corporations; government beaurocratic jobs such as the IRS, DMV, Social Security agency, etc.; law enforcement agencies, courts, jails, homeowners associations, huge name banking and credit institutions – any job that has puppet people at the helm and serves to enslave the population – out the door they go. Stop giving your precious time and energy and emotional commitment to a soulless corporation, company or government entity that works to control and dominate the populace. When you work for them — no matter how trivial your “cog in the wheel” role is — you’re aligning yourself to that. And chances are they are grossly underpaying you for all the work that you contribute which helps make them rich. So seek out companies that seem to benefit the population in some way, versus exploiting and imprisoning it.

Or better yet. . .

4. Figure out a way to earn your own money, tax free

Learn skills that render you independent from the mainstream system; figure out how to generate your own income, such as going into business for yourself. It’s easier than it sounds. Learn what your talents and skills are, and make money doing it. If you think you don’t have any skills you can sell….then teach yourself. Find something you would enjoy doing, something you’ve always wanted to learn and which would be useful to others. Then learn it, and begin doing it. Becoming independent of the system isn’t a bad idea, not only because the system is designed by and for the puppet people, but because Social Security, 401Ks, etc. will most likely not be there for us when and if we reach retirement age. We have to find a way to take care of ourselves. In doing so you not only help to take money away from the corporations, but also the illegal IRS.

Do you already have some ideas of things you could do? If not, grab a pen and paper and begin brainstorming — everything and anything you can think of which pops into your head, jot it down. Don’t worry about something sounding silly — just write everything that comes to you. The silliest sounding idea could end up morphing into a powerhouse plan, you never know. Think of all your talents and specialties. What can you do? What do you want to do? What do people come to you for? Consider the area in which you live, the demographics and economy. Think of all the ways in which you could drum up business or advertise – What type of advertising would you like to do? Would a website help? Who do you know that you could network with, either in person or on the ‘net? Family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, significant others? Etc. And think big and keep yourself open. You may end up coming up with more than one plan for your own business. So don’t limit yourself to just one idea! Once you get going with the brainstorming you’ll probably find yourself on a roll. It’s fun! You may even wonder why you didn’t do this sooner.

5. Or seek easy jobs! If working for yourself isn’t feasible at the moment, and you’re still in a position where you need to work for others, then seek (non-STS) jobs that will take the least out of you. I have a side write up called Why Temping and Mindless Jobs are the Way to Go* which talks about chucking those low paying, high work/stress (puppet people) jobs in favor of easy jobs that pay what you need, but require the least amount of expended energy and work.

6. Lose the fear about money. Oh, this is a big one. For me and everybody else! We’re all afraid of running out of money, of not finding a job, blah blah blah. I know, I’ve been through it, and as I type this, I still haven’t fully conquered it myself. I know what needs to be done and what mentality I need to adopt, the one about how “the Universe provides”, and “leap…and the net shall appear!”, but it truly is like jumping off a cliff with your arms spread out wide, trusting — hoping!!! — that a net pops up. Right now I’m spotty. Sometimes I can do it, other times I chicken out and pull back from the edge of the cliff at the last minute. “I can’t do it! ahhhhh!” All of this is of course, fear. Fear is what controls the herd and keeps everyone in the pen. Money is probably one of the biggest fear motivators, second only to death. It’s time to adapt a new attitude about money, if you haven’t already. One that involves what I just mentioned – the idea that the Universe will provide. I stumbled across the approach that seems to be the key. First you ask/intend for what you need, but without any sort of fear, self-doubt or anxiety seeping in, because that creates a mixed signal and constricts things. Next, do whatever it is you need to do on your end to help the process along — it’s about meeting reality half way. Bags of money don’t just fall from the sky and land on your doorstep you know. (or maybe they do, and I haven’t reached that level yet, who knows!) Then, trust that things will work out for you. Know that things are rearranging themselves to provide what you need.

Many people won’t quit a negative job until they have a new one lined up, which is understandable. But sometimes the first job cuts into time that could be spent hunting for a new and better job. Or the mere act of staying at the first job causes complacency. “Well, I technically have a job, may as well just stay here for now, even though I hate it…” Lazy! They keep coming up with reasons to justify staying with the misery. As long as there are ties to it, it makes it easier to waiver back and forth. In the past, fear about “MONEY” kept me hanging on to jobs long after their expiration dates had come and gone. I’m only recently getting to a point where this is no longer the case. I’m learning to say no to undesirable jobs, and to request what I’d rather have, instead of just taking whatever comes my way. Money should never dictate our lives, but the puppet people society has made it so it does. It’s quite a racket they’ve got going! They don’t want us knowing that there’s an open door over there behind the curtain, which they’ve purposely hidden, and it involves realizing the power we have to manifest whatever it is we need. Walk away from jobs that don’t match who you are, and anything that doesn’t respect you. And then know that something better will come through for you.

7. Listen to intuition. For some this may be pretty easy if they’ve already got their psychic/intuition skills honed; others may have to consciously work at it to get things going. Most have an inner voice I believe, and that inner voice and “gut feelings” are in tune with things. It’ll be your guide if you just listen to it. Those times where I didn’t listen to my intuitive voice I experienced unnecessary suffering or setbacks as a result, both work-related and non. So it’s a handy tool to have when it comes to jobs and work and earning money. Start learning to tune in to what your intuition and gut feelings are telling you. If you’re not used to doing it then the voice may be a little faint at first. As you tune in more and more, over time it will get stronger. And there are going to be moments, probably lots, where it’s going to contradict what you think is the “logical” thing to do. But listen to it anyway, it knows! All it takes is one time of listening to your intuition, despite it seeming “illogical”, and discovering that it was right. After that, you’ll know to automatically trust it. When you trust and rely on your intuition and gut feelings, you become in the flow with the universe, you could say. Opportunities will be able to fall into your lap much easier, you’ll be in the right place at the right time, (and you won’t be at the wrong places when you shouldn’t be!) you’ll meet the right people when you need to, it’s amazing!

8. Transition. The most important thing to note in all of this is don’t make the mistake of rejecting your old life outright — this will only put you in a bind. Depending on what your goals are, it’s safe to say that it’s probably not in anybody’s best interest if you just up and quit your job, pack a bag and go roaming about as a hungry, broke homeless person who sleeps on park benches and friends’ couches. It’s all about transition. Removing yourself from one type of existence, while simultaneously setting up your new existence on the side. Like a martial arts move, the trick is to transcend the system, use it against itself for greater good, not to go down in flames with it.

A good suggestion that many recommend is to keep your day job, and use the money you make from that to get your own business set up and established. Creating a business from scratch requires some money, and as long as you have an adequate income flowing in it makes it a whole lot easier to do what you need to do. Eventually when things are set up and begin rolling, you can begin to cut back on your day job…and hopefully quit altogether. Take a moment to imagine working for yourself, having your own business going on the side doing something very cool and earning money from it. And then imagine yourself reaching that point where you are finally able to quit your mainstream day job. How does it make you feel? Probably pretty good! Keep that image in mind and use it to motivate yourself.

9. Reach out to others and network to spread the concept along. If you’ve managed to detach from the workforce and make your own independent way in life, how about reaching out to others to show them what’s possible? We have a million and one people showing us the puppet people’s way from the time we’re a kid. But so rarely do we get to hear from those who’ve Just Said No, and are actively going against the grain…and succeeding! Even having a small side business that generates a modest income is success in my book. The mere fact that you’ve gotten that far is commendable! Most people are just content to always work for others. There are endless ideas of what one can do to network and spread the word around. Write an article such as this one, a pamphlet, post on message boards, create a website, do a radio show, or just “plant seeds” wherever you go, with people who you cross paths with. Brainstorm, see what you come up with.

A big problem here, which some may be thinking as they read along, is that all this rebelling and refusing to work for puppet-people establishments limits one’s options for work. And in some cases, pretty severely, depending on where you live. In small towns and rural areas for example, there may only be a proliferation of “puppet people” corporate chain companies to work for. So based on surface appearances, this doesn’t leave a person open to the possibility of being able to be choosy. Or does it? A concept that I stressed in my previous article was that other people’s realities don’t have to be yours. Just because other people are struggling to find work doesn’t mean you will too. I’ve proved this to myself, and hope to be an example to others. I think when you apply the principles that can be found in both of these articles, you can manifest what you need. You also have to be willing to do some work as well to break out of the limited options being presented to you. Anybody is free to carve out their own niche in this world, and create a business for themselves if they don’t like the job options they have to choose from…but how many people actually think to do this and make it happen? If it’s not feasible to move away from an economically-limited area in order to get away from your limited choices, then hack your own path through the weeds! Don’t be content to just accept what’s being given to you. They’re counting on you doing that. That’s how mega-corporations like Wal-Mart keep going, for example. They burst into Smalltown, USA promising hundreds of jobs to the economically depressed local residents, who line up by the thousands to compete over a few positions. And the residents do it without thinking twice. They don’t fight to create other options for themselves. The key word here being fight, because sometimes that’s what you have to do. There are always services that people need — what services/talents can you provide to the residents of your community which you in turn can earn a living from? And what would happen if everybody in town adopted this mentality, and didn’t fill out an app for that new Wal*Mart, or the local Bank of America, or the McDonald’s, the Exxon gas station on the corner, and all the other “Illuminati” corporations who’ve taken over the country like the plague? Imagine!

“Reality” crashing the party

On a realistic note, I realize that what I’m suggesting here is a plan of attack that unfortunately, is not feasible for a good chunk of the population. As mentioned at the beginning of this article, one of the three main groups that exist in society right now is the working class who live paycheck to paycheck. With this life comes a correlating mindset that is anything but what I’ve outlined here. And for most people in this segment, that mindset will never change. A person has to work, and does not have the luxury of turning down a job for something more agreeable. You take what you can get, and you’re just happy to have it, whatever it is. I know, because I was once there. What I talk about in this article was not always something I understood; in fact, I would have reacted with some hostility to the idea of people being choosy about work even as recently as 2002. It was a bone of contention for me you could say. As someone for whom it was the norm and absolutely necessary for survival to sometimes have two jobs — and even three at one point in my life — I was definitely all about the value of hard work. Working is respectable, no matter what the company. You do what you have to do to keep a roof over your head, I thought. It didn’t occur to me to question the nature of many companies out there and who they’re serving, or rather, exploiting. Being choosy about things, and holding out for something better? Seriously, what’s that? That’s for spoiled adult-children as I called them who have a safety net called their parents that they know they can always run to. I don’t have that safety net. Manifesting what you need? Using will and intent? Being in the flow of the universe and listening to intuition? Nobody had ever informed me of such things. Those are “new agey” alternative spirituality concepts, and I didn’t grow up exposed to those sorts of ideas.

Over time, I’ve slowly learned. A lot of things had to come together for me to get to where I am now. One, recognizing my own manifestation abilities for starters. I’ve done it many, many times over the years…how about finally noticing this, and trusting that I can harness this ability at will? Two, getting my hands on books and websites that helped encourage this idea, talking about another aspect of reality that most never get a glimpse of. And three, finally getting to a point where I was brave enough to test the waters and take my first leap off a cliff, trusting that the net would appear. Then looking down and watching in absolute amazement as it did. My last article documented this leap. Once you do it, there’s no going back.

But I realize, that while the door is open for all to walk through, most won’t. That’s the reality of it. Too many people’s lives reflect a long series of sometimes multi-generational choices that have locked them into the current prison of their own making. Race and poverty are huge factors in all of this, whether we want to address it or not. The door of opportunity is certainly wider for some than others. It doesn’t mean it’s impossible — it just means it’s a deeper and more difficult pit for some to pull themselves out of.

It certainly makes things easier too if you’re somebody who has resisted following the mainstream path since childhood. My parents were drumming it into my head as a kid and teen that I was going to go to college. Over and over I heard it. My mom even told me what I’d be majoring in no less, such was the level of their authoritarian parenting style. They had my future all mapped out…but it was their dream, not mine, and it was one that would absolutely ensure that I was following along with the status quo. College, marriage, kids, a house, the successful job, I was going to have it all according to them and be the ultimate puppet person in life. (And the ultimate example of the modern Feminist movement, but that’s a topic for another article I suppose.) Except I refused. I knew something was off about it all, which is why I’m even able to be here today, writing this. Had I been meek or easily pushed into things in a rushed hurry, I wouldn’t be here right now. When I look around at the people I’ve met in life who are walking to the beat of a different drummer and trying to wake others up to what’s really going on in this reality, I see that they don’t have “baggage” holding them back. They are people like myself who had a nagging doubt since childhood that something is very wrong in our society and in turn backed away from it all. It’s not so easy to walk the path of freedom when you’re bogged down with three kids, a spouse who isn’t on the same page as you, two SUV payments, a half dozen credit card companies demanding money every month, a back breaking mortgage, your kids’ college to pay for, a job you hate but which you’re locked into because you have people relying on you to take care of them, and all the matrix obligations that go along with that life. For all teens and twenty-somethings who are reading this, that is the biggest piece of advise that I can give — Don’t rush into anything. The more that everybody around you pressures you to adapt the puppet person’s life, the more you should pause and take a deep breath. Just the simple act of not doing — pausing, breathing, and taking a time out — can make all the difference, in any situation.

And on a side note, I have to add that while it certainly helps for a person to have a little bit of extra money saved up to be a “cushion” while they test the waters of reality, manifesting what they need, I don’t believe it’s absolutely necessary. There are too many stories of people who were down to their last dollar in life, but synchronicities fell into place to pluck them out, even at the last second. Whether you have one dollar or a thousand, it’s do-able, because it’s not about your bank account, but rather, the ability of your mind to manifest what it needs. It’s all in the head. The trick is realizing this, knowing it, intending, and then leaping.

Conclusion

You may not be able to remove yourself entirely from the system, and that’s understandable, especially if you’re generating your own income. I haven’t been able to do it yet, and I’m writing this. But the goal is to become as much “off the radar” as possible. You’re walking amongst the rest of society, but you’re not buying into or participating in all the noise and illusion. You’re neither here nor there, because you have a foot in each door, living your life and quietly subverting where possible. This isn’t as complicated to achieve as one might initially think, and it’s in my personal belief that this is the best way we could be under these present circumstances. The more connected you are to the mainstream system, the more you are supporting and perpetuating the fear-based world of the puppet people, who exist for ego gratification, self promotion, competition, separation, money, entertainment, distraction, and illusion. They’re coasting along, asleep in a dream, often times content to just live out their lives without questioning anything. Their world is not real. Eliminate as many of their trappings as possible!

Also, keep in mind that there’s no such thing as a “negative” situation — that’s just how our egos interpret things. Right now is the perfect opportunity for disgruntled people who find themselves in a “negative” work environment to find a new way in life. We can insist on treading the same old habitual road we’ve always tread, beating a dead horse, or we can recognize when it’s time to let go and move on. I say let the puppets have their low paying, physically exhaustive jobs, fluorescent lit cubicles, lingo-riddled brainwashing sessions in the conference room and catch phrase posters that pummel stuff into your head at every turn — you don’t really want that, you just think you do because that’s the reality we’ve been fed. We’re holding onto a lifeline that’s actually holding us down. Let go, and instead of sinking you’ll find that you actually float away. It’s quite the opposite of what you expected I bet. J There’s a world of opportunity out there, and plenty of other doors to walk through.

Footnotes:

1. Illuminati/Brotherhood corporations — The Illuminati/Brotherhood/Elite are the human front stage players and families who run countries and own pretty much everything — the banks, oil companies, you name it. They’re the ones calling the shots on the planet. (Or so it seems, on the surface.) They’re known as “Brotherhood” or “Illuminati” due to their supposed origins in secret societies and their connection through bloodlines.

2. STS — Service to Self. On the flip side is STO, or, Service to Others. Service to Self is about control, domination, power trips, and “looking out for number one” at all costs; the idea of doing whatever you supposedly “have” to do to others to get what it is you need, no matter what it might entail. The power structure of our society is an STS-based hierarchy. Our “leaders” and corporate kings and queens look out for themselves at everybody else’s expense, and are all about power and control at any price. They in turn set up systems that center around this structure and impart these ideals on to society at large. One way we can “subvert” is by doing our best to act the opposite of this in our day-to-day dealings, and to refuse to work for any company that is based on these concepts, while simultaneously creating a new path for ourselves, and others.

“Nickle and Dimed — On (Not) Getting by in America” by Barbara Ehrenreich. Good book, I really enjoyed this one when I came across it at the book store, enough so that I purchased it. “Millions of American work full-time, year-round, for poverty-level wages. Barbara Ehrenreich decided to join them, inspired in part by the rhetoric surrounding welfare reform, which promised that any job equals a better life. But how can anyone survive, let alone prosper, on six to seven dollars an hour? To find out, Ehrenreich moved from Florida to Maine to Minnesota, taking the cheapest lodgings available and accepting work as a waitress, hotel maid, house cleaner, nursing home aide, and Wal Mart salesperson. She soon discovered that even the “lowliest” occupations require exhausting mental and physical efforts. And one job is not enough; you need at least two if you intend to live indoors.”

Anti-Consumerism and the Alternate Economy — by www.verdant.net Excellent article from a website that offers fantastic solutions for combating corporations and rampant materialism. “…Those that have reached a certain level of material comfort are often insecure and must work multiple jobs and manic hours to try and preserve it. Forces beyond our control have changed the economic rules while we continue to play the old game. Jobs that allow one to live decently are scarce, benefits evaporate, healthcare costs skyrocket, job security is non-existent. Greed, competition, individualism and selfishness have become the hallmarks of the economy…people are turning away from this situation in disgust and are helping to develop an Alternate Economy as both a healthy survival mechanism and tacit means of protest…”

How to Drop Out and How to Survive the Crash and Save the Earth — by Ran Prieur. Interesting anti-consumerism, anti-society articles about how to walk away from the system and cut the ties that are dragging you down in life. Many of our material “needs” and luxuries that keep us working like a hamster in a wheel can be easily eliminated, and these articles are a motivation to try to do so.

“Whispering Winds of Change” by Stuart Wilde. One of my all time favorite books, by one of my all time favorite authors. “Whispering Winds of Change, a fascinating book by “The Wilde Man,” will appeal to lovers of alternative ideas and philosophies. Stuart Wilde challenges us to stand outside the usual paradigms of consciousness as “fringe dwellers.” He asks us to observe the dying throws of what he calls the “world ego” — the embodiment of the manipulative and dominating force of the status quo…”

“I am me, I am Free — the Robot’s Guide to Freedom” — by David Icke. Another great book by another great author who’s clued in about things. “With humour and powerful insight, David Icke exposes the mental and emotional prisons which billions of people build around themselves — prisons which allow a tiny few to control the direction of the world. He shows how shallow and ridiculous are the fears, guilts, resentments and limitations which blight the lives of humankind, and he offers the key to mental and emotional liberation…”
